YouTube Redesigns End Screen, Now Harder to Leave Site


YouTube recently launched a new grid design for related videos that now features 12 videos.

Considering that YouTube acquired Next New Networks in March, it's no surprise that YouTube's endscreen closely resembles Next New Networks'. The only difference is that the Next New Networks end screen shows viewers a preview of the videos, while YouTube only features still images [ see screen shot after the jump ].

LAUNCH editors imagine that YouTube is trying to keep users locked in on the site. We have been in contact with YouTube and will update this story when we get more information.

Next New Networks videos feature an end screen with actual videos, rather than still images.
