Steve Jobs Visited Flipboard before Its Launch, Now Flipboard Pays Tribute
Steve Jobs visited Flipboard, the creators of the personalized social magazine for the iPad, ahead of their initial launch in 2010 because he was enthralled with the product, as Robert Scoble recalled.
To honor the man who gave them the iPad and made their product possible, Flipboard has created a comprehensive tribute of articles, tweets, videos, photos and blog posts -- new and old.
Flipboard is curating the best tweets with the hashtag #rememberingjobs for the special section, as The Next Web first reported.
"It's one of the few startups I know that have been personally visited by Steve Jobs and that must have been a big thrill," Scoble wrote on his Google+ account. "Nice to see them paying respects."
LAUNCH has contacted Flipboard for comment about Steve Jobs' visit. We will update this post if we receive a response.
