Spotify now lets users decide what they want to share on Facebook after recently tightly integrating with the social network.

"Spotify is all about sharing and discovering new music," the company blog states. "It’s entirely up to you what you decide to share and what you keep private."

To control sharing settings, go to Spotify Preferences. In the Facebook box, check the box to share your music on Facebook. If you'd rather not share music with friends, simply uncheck the box.

Public playlists can still be seen by all your friends, as well as "Top artists" and "Top tracks."

Already, Spotify user Agibb posted that the new sharing option doesn't change much.

"Well, that's all very well and good, but you've lost my trust, so for now I'm keeping my spotify account and Facebook account separate," Agibb writes. "Which is a shame, because I liked seeing other peoples public playlists. It doesn't help that you've done this at the same time as other facebook dirty tricks are coming to light, otherwise I'd be more inclined to try it out. "
