Quora Launches Mobile App for iOS; Adds Nearby Feature
Quora, a question and answer service, launched its first mobile app for iPhone and iPod Touch, which includes the new Nearby feature.
Quora users now have the option to read feeds, search, add and answer questions using the mobile app. Quora also improved its Shuffle feature, which is located at the bottom of the feed.
"It's perfect for surfacing even more great content when you're stuck at a bus stop and looking for something to read," Quora product designer Anne Halsall writes on Quora.
The Nearby feature lets you see topics that other people in the area are discussing, or you can move the map around to explore questions worldwide.
Quora was founded in 2009 by Adam D'Angelo and Charlie Cheever and has received $11M in funding to date from Benchmark Capital.
